Falling in love with books, the discovery way, we story time every morning and a cozy reading corner in each classroom.

While teachers read stories in dramatic and enthusiastic ways, they emphasize letter sounds and link story to written text.

Our teachers focus on inspiring a passion for discovering the world that is hidden in each book, each child has individual reading time every day.

At the same time, we use an engaging phonics curriculum (Fun Family phonics) to introduce letter sounds and names to the children. Our curriculum uses body movement and music to help with memorizing the letter sounds. This then progresses to sounding out and reading three letter words, our four year olds especially enjoy this step.
